The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), successfully organized the “ECE Next Gen 2026” Pre-College Program from June 17 to 19, 2026, at the Faculty of Engineering. The program aimed to academically prepare incoming freshmen, assist them in transitioning smoothly into university life, and foster strong relationships between the new students and their seniors.

Throughout the 3-day event, freshmen acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical skills through hands-on engineering challenges designed to encourage teamwork, real-world problem solving, and innovation. Alongside these technical sessions, ice-breaking activities created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The event received overwhelming interest and active participation from a large number of incoming freshmen who attended the activities consistently throughout the 3-day program.

The immense success of this project was driven by the dedication and exceptional teamwork of over 70 student staff and seniors who collaboratively planned, prepared, and managed the event while ensuring the safety and well-being of the freshmen. This outstanding effort truly reflects the strong spirit and unity of the ECE department.
