The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering , also known as ECE, is part of the Faculty of Engineering. It currently offers undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering focuses on producing high-quality professionals in electrical and computer engineering to be a crucial part of the country's economic development. This is achieved through research and the advancement of knowledge in electrical and computer engineering, keeping pace with technological and industrial changes. The goal is for research outputs to genuinely benefit the industrial sector and society, while also supporting the transition to Industry 4.0. integrates the world of manufacturing with network connectivity in the form of the Internet of Things (IoT). This involves two key components: hardware, which includes technology and innovations in machinery, automation systems, and control systems, and software, which processes data and uses the results for automated control or decision support.
