The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), successfully held the closing ceremony of the hands-on training program titled “EV Charger Installation Technician” on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 09:00 to 09:30 hrs., at Vichitwadee Room, 3rd Floor, Building 81.
This program was organized through collaboration between King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok, the Department of Skill Development, and private sector partners. The primary objective was to enhance the capabilities of personnel by equipping them with the knowledge, competencies, and practical skills required for the installation, inspection, and evaluation of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems in accordance with established standards, ensuring safety and efficiency in alignment with the rapid growth of the EV industry and future energy infrastructure.
The training program was conducted from March 18 to 20, 2026, and featured distinguished speakers from both academia and industry, who delivered comprehensive knowledge through both theoretical and practical sessions. A total of 20 participants, consisting of training personnel from the Department of Skill Development, attended the program.
The ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sarmart Pattamasukhon, Director-General of the Department of Skill Development. The event was also honored by the presence of Prof.Dr.Somrerk Chandra-Ambhorn, Vice President of KMUTNB, and Assoc. Prof. Kittichai Thanasupsin, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, along with executives from government agencies, the private sector, and faculty members. Their presence reflected strong collaboration among all sectors in advancing workforce development to support future technologies.
